Do I need an account to use SleepLedger?
SleepLedger does not require an email/password account. The core iOS journaling experience keeps your record on your device by default, and the privacy policy explains any feature-specific data handling in more detail.
How long does a check-in take?
The core check-in is designed to take about 10 seconds for the main prompts.
Why track subjective sleep instead of relying on sleep scores?
Because what people lose fastest is the memory of how the night actually felt. Sleep scores can be useful context, but they do not replace a calm subjective record of sleep quality, rested feeling, and next-day energy.
Why not just use Notes or a spreadsheet?
Because the hard part is not storing text. The hard part is having a calm prompt you can actually repeat while groggy, then seeing patterns later without rebuilding the data yourself.
What is ISI?
ISI (Insomnia Severity Index) is a clinical-standard questionnaire used by sleep professionals to assess insomnia severity. SleepLedger includes weekly ISI assessments with automatic scoring.
Is SleepLedger a medical device?
No. SleepLedger is a personal wellness and self-tracking tool for educational purposes. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice.
Does SleepLedger use iCloud sync?
Not in the current version. SleepLedger does not use iCloud sync.

Can I recover Pro after switching phones?
Yes. Use Restore Purchases in the iOS app to recover your one-time Pro purchase.
Can I export data for my clinician?
Yes. Pro unlocks PDF and CSV exports that you can generate and download when you choose.
